Overview - Rectangular Universal Chuck
Fewer chucks in the shop
A fine pole chuck suits small parts and a standard chuck suits large ones. The universal pitch does both jobs well enough that most shops need only one chuck per machine.
The top plate concentrates the field on the working face. A light hold position lets the operator set the part before the full hold is applied. Used for grinding, turning, wire cut and light milling.
