Stock Magnets and Tools

Small magnets do a lot of quiet work in a factory. They hold jigs and sensors, pick up dropped fixings, clear swarf from a floor and keep tools where you can reach them.

We stock alnico pot and horseshoe magnets, neodymium disc, block and channel magnets, and magnetic floor sweepers. Alnico keeps its strength close to heat. Neodymium gives the highest pull for its size. Custom sizes, shapes and fittings are made to order.

Choose alnico where the magnet sits near a welding or heat treatment area, or where a very stable field matters, as in instruments and sensors.

Choose neodymium where the space is small and the pull must be high. Keep it below 80 degrees Celsius.

Choose a pot or channel magnet where the magnet is bolted to a fixture. The steel shell directs the field to one face and protects the magnet from knocks. Tell us the pull you need and the space you have, and we will pick the size.
