The first magnet in the line
The plate sits in the chute floor so the product slides straight over the magnet face. Large iron pulls down onto the plate and stays there until the plate is swung clear and wiped.
Fitted before grids and rod separators, it takes out the large pieces that would otherwise bridge across the finer rods or damage them. Made to the chute width and burden depth.
