Overview - Neodymium Magnetic Rod

The part every separator is built from

Each rod is a sealed stainless tube holding neodymium magnets and steel pole pieces, machined and welded at our works. Rods are supplied singly, built into grids with side plates, or fitted into an existing filter housing.

Standard rods are 7,000 to 8,000 gauss. High strength rods go to 9,000, super high strength to 11,000 and extreme high strength to 13,500 gauss. Ferrite and Ferrearth rods are made for coarse iron at lower cost.

The tube is watertight, so rods work in liquid lines as well as dry product. Rare earth rods should stay below 100 degrees Celsius. Every rod comes with a tested certificate of magnetic strength.

  • Temperature limit: 100 deg C for rare earth rods
  • Supplied with a tested certificate of magnetic strength
