Overview - Magnetic Grids for Sieves

The last check under the screen

A sieve removes oversize material. It does not remove iron of the same size as the product, and a worn screen sheds its own wire. A magnetic grid under the screen catches both.

The grid is a frame of magnetic rods sized to sit in the sieve outlet or the hopper mouth. Product falls between the rods and iron holds to them. Lifting the grid out and wiping the rods takes a minute.

We stock round grids of 10, 12, 15 and 24 inch and 350 mm, and square grids of 6, 8 and 12 inch. Other sizes and shapes are made to drawing. Used on flour, sugar, spices, plastics, chemicals and pigments.
