Magnets that take iron out of your product

Iron gets into a product line with the raw material, from worn machine parts and from maintenance work. A magnetic separator pulls it out before it damages a machine or reaches a customer.

We make separators for dry powders, granules, liquids and slurries. Grids and grates sit in hoppers. Drawer housings and bullet magnets fit into pipes and ducts. Liquid traps go into pipelines. Plate and chute magnets work over conveyors and inside chutes.

Every unit is built at our works in Mumbai from 304 stainless steel and neodymium rods in four strengths, up to 13,500 gauss. Each one leaves with a tested certificate of magnetic strength. Sizes are made to your hopper, pipe or chute.

How we work

We ask about the product, the flow rate, the space and the metal you need to catch. Then we size the magnet and draw it for your line.

Standard rods are 7,000 to 8,000 gauss. High and super high strength rods go to 11,000 gauss. Extreme high strength rods reach 13,500 gauss and hold fine particles and work hardened stainless steel. Ferrite rods are available for coarse tramp iron.

Housings, frames and rods are welded and polished at our works. We keep spares for what we sell, and we re-magnetise assemblies that have weakened. If a standard unit does not fit, we build to your drawing.
