Protect the machine and the product

A nail or a screw in a granulate feed can score a screw, block a nozzle or break a grinder blade. Fine iron in the melt ends up in the moulded part. Recycled material carries more of both.

Our separators take out the large pieces at intake and the fine particles before the machine. Plate and chute magnets handle the coarse tramp iron. Grids, drawer housings and bullet magnets take the fine iron from the granulate feed.

Where the separators go

  • Plate or chute magnet on the intake conveyor or chute
  • Grid or grate in the silo or octabin outlet
  • Drawer or bullet housing in the feed to the extruder or moulder
  • Grid magnet in the hopper above the machine throat
  • Housed grid after grinders and shredders
  • Sampling probe at goods inwards for recycled feedstock
