Neodymium Block Magnets
Plated neodymium blocks, grades N35 to N52
Aerospace machine shops grind and turn to tight tolerances. A magnetic chuck holds the part evenly across its whole face, with no clamp pressure to distort it and five faces open to the tool.
Fine swarf in the coolant spoils the finish and scores slideways. A magnetic filter takes it out at full flow. Permanent magnetic lifters move steel plate and billets with one person. Neodymium and alnico magnets go into fixtures, sensors and test equipment.
